3800-3400 Suspension Compatibility
Could someone tell me if this product (designed for the 3800 Montes) would fit on my 3400?

I contacted ZZP and they told be they didn't test it on the 3400s, but they think it would probably work. I just want to be sure.
TIA

IMO I struggle with them calling the GR2 struts a performance option. They may not be as soft as some stock W body struts, but they're still way over on the comfort side of things. The only people who will see a performance improvement are those who are replacing literal blown struts.
As noted above with the AGX option, youre pretty close to coilovers at that point anyways.

To be honest, even these were more than I wanted to spend, but I've seen that people say not to get only lowering springs without struts/shocks. I'm really on a budget for this mod. If I did just install the springs, how long do you think it would be before the stock struts/shocks wear out? I'm not sure if it's worth it. My monte has 125k miles on it.

The other thing to keep in mind is that lowering springs tend to be harder on struts in general. The more drop, usually the worse strut life. Im not familiar with the zzp springs, but in general I would always suggest holding off on doing the job until you can afford to do both at once.
i look at it as "do it once not twice." if your gonna have the struts apart to install new springs might as well swap out the wear items (i.e. struts, strut mounts and bellows).
then you dont have to worry bout it for years.
