Someone please help me figure out a way 2 tuck my 22's in the back flush...they have these enourmous spacers...which pokes the back out bout 1 1/2 inch...each side...i have a 255/30...n the rim is 22 X 8.5....so if any1 has an idea let me kno...THANKZ

 

I assume you have a front wheel drive car & the wheels aren't 5x115 or 114.3 other wise you wouldn't need the adapters you are using. If that's the case you can buy 1" adapters & get rid of the thicker ones but that will only pull them in a little. If the wheels have the correct pcd then just pound up the plates on the struts & you're good to go.

 

no they are the correct bolt pattern...its just wit out the i guess i should call them spacers...it would lik press on the back strut alot...i tryed beatin the back plate but it only goes in...and not up which i needed it 2...do u kno a site wit spacer that dont need 2 be bolted on lik the ones i have...but r thick enough to clear the strut?

 

the only thing i know of to change this is to change the back space on the wheels and or to get rid of the spacers on them so they will fit in there.

but if your hitting anyway then there is only one choice and that is change the back spaceing. or i guess you might beabel to talk with someone and see if you can cut or grind the parts that you hit on in there with out hurting anything

 

I have 22x8.5 with a 255/30/22 tire and I had no problems getting them on nor do I have spacers in the back my wheels don't even stick out

 

maybe the offset has alot 2 do wit it...but damn ive tryed to put them in wit spacers...n it just wont happen...u think u can give me some pics?...hit me back up

You got the wrong size tires.. i have 22x8.5 and spacers and mine dont stick out but i have 235/30/22 tires

 

you have the wrong offset, you'd need to buy a new set of rims
