what breaks are those? cost? a link where i can just buy it. lol sorry, and how much was it to install? also will it fit a 06 SS?

Those are way too expensive. The ones from the W-body store are damn nice though.

Those are the GXP brakes from W-Body store. All bolt on. need 18's though. Fronts took maybe 1.5 hours to install. The rears maybe an hour. The car now stops. They are completely affordable. The brakes on my Ferrari cost $30K. Now those were expensive.

are the gxps rear brakes the same size as the montes?

No, they are MUCH larger and thicker.

the only bad thing i don't like going larger with front GXP up front is those calipers are very heavy plus the rotors too, but i do been wanting to do the rear gxp calipers swap. they so hard to find right now in junk yard. i'll get lucky one of these day.

The GXP calipers are IMO lighter then the stock MC calipers. When I swapped them out the MC calipers were bricks. The GXP ones are much lighter.

i don't think so correct me if i'm wrong, but i think the gxp calipers are cast iron. btw i'm running C5 calipers up front and they are lighter than the fbody
