Default 2000 monte carlo ss with 20 inch wheels... HELP!!!

I have a 2000 monte carlo ss with 20 inch wheels and the back struts are rubbing my tires when i hit a bump. Is there something i might could do to fix this and if so what? Any help would be great thanks.

Your tires are rubbing on your struts???? are you sure the tires are not contacting the lip on the wheel well cuz the strut will travel with the tire and should not suddenly allow the tire to contact it.

What offset do you have. I have a set of 20x8.5 with a 40mm offset and I had to roll the fender lip just a little bit because they would barely rub every once and a while. Theres probably 1/2" of clearence between my strut and wheel on the rear.
