just lift it.

btw, the rims are not too big for the car.
I hear that this is called "EAST COAST STYLE" and very popular in urbanized areas.

I have to agree- Montes aren't supposed to look like that. If you want that look get an 80's model Caddy. Montes are supposed to be lowered, not raised. But, to each his own.

BTW- I have 255-45 tires and 17" rims and it is lowered about 2" all the way around. My back tires will rub when I hit a moderate bump at speed, but not enough to cause any tire damage. It is annoying though.

LoL, yep I personally would never put "DUBS" on any car because it make its look silly IMO. I prefer sleak low profile racing wheels. I know those big rims are very popular on the west coast too.

Kinda yes and no. I don't see those *high* up dubs on coupes and sedans much in SoCal. But I do see them in places like Oakland and Hayward. For the record, I don't like them but I would love to see someone try to tub and lower the vehicle with those giant dubs.

Hey Dave. What part of SoCal are you in? I have been trying to get a SoCal Monte club together for the longest time but I am having troubles finding anyone that meets the criteria (Owning a Monte and living in SoCal. haha) We should get together some time and see what we can come up with. Maybe put together a "Fun Run" or something.

i guess its everyones opinion is different, i love the look of a monte with 20's one it (a new monte that is)

and if the tires and rims are right for it the car shouldn't sit any higher than it did to begin with
