... treads will wear out. For the most part today's tires deliver more miles and years of service than ever before. ... How many years will tires last before aging out?

I don't do much driving in the Monte lately. I've had my 18" Dunlop SP Sport Signature on the car for about 3 years (maybe 9,000 miles?). They still look brand new.
I used to get around 15,000-20,000 miles on my tires (the roads in the Poconos are terrible on tires)

Where do I begin?
I had Toyo AT's on the Silverado and recently replaced them...
They were a 25,000 mile tire that I put 71,000 miles on before i replaced them this season with Toyo HT's.
The Mont Carlo Goodyear RSA's I had originally when I bought it... I had 89,000 miles on them til the Mrs ran over a broken truck spring and ripped the remaining tread off 1 of the tires..(It still held air)
I owe my high mileage to proper inflation, Rotations, and balanced That I do regularly at every 3000 miles! Since I have a warranty thru Belle Tire... They rotate and balance them for me for free! There also Nitronized!

Thanks `Mike & `David for your posts.
Mod `David, that's amazing miles 4-Sure, but you have proven that it pays `off to follow the recommended advice on how to care for your tires.
Looking forward to our Member's posts on this subject...
