Back at home for the weekend just enough time to relax and pack for another week in the tundra. Hoping this week will be warmer because it was cold as heck in the Iron range (Hibbing. MN) even for us resident's. Get some time too check out the website while I'm gone so time doesn't drag by.Hope the cold is leaving soon so I can get back to finishing my car.

Good morning guys, 0 degrees right now with clear skies. It was at least -4 overnight so we had a temperature drop of at least 62 degrees in roughly 32 hours. Unbelievable.

Good morning folks. I have the day off and so many chores and projects I don't know which one to tackle first! I really just want to work on the SS but its cold outside, which means I should use the shop. Shop needs cleaning first. Maybe that's a good place to start. A clean shop to start the year!
Just finally was able to put the Monte away for the winter over the weekend. She was sitting in the garage like normal for a while. Finally braved the cold weather to wash it, put stabil in, and get the battery out.

Good morning guys, 3 degrees this morning. We had about 3" of snow yesterday.
4th Gen is an interesting choice of vehicle to take out on the ice... I would have went with a 1st Gen but to each their own.
Couple more Detroit Auto Show reveals. This morning, Jeep will reveal the all-new 2019 Cherokee, Infinity revealed their Q Inspiration concept, BMW revealed the first-ever X2 and Lamborghini revealed the all-new 2019 Urus.

Wow. I've seen a few photos of the Lamborghini Urus before, and am still happy to say, that if any carmaker could possibly make an SUV look damn hot and desirable, it's Lamborghini. (Natch.)
But Chevy's new Silverado? With its front end so tall and blunt, it looks like it ran into a concrete wall. It must have a radar signature like a semi's... and meanwhile, the new Ram looks like it's wearing unfashionably thick chrome eyeglasses.
I must be gettin' old, I don't like much of the new stuff anymore!

Yeah I'm not feeling the new Silverado so far. This one and the last gen definitely seem to be getting a more severely stubby looking front end and weird body lines that mimic what the Japanese autos do on their vehicles. I'm not sure how I feel about the curved body line down the front fenders into the doors.
