Yeah we're at 24 degrees this morning. Seems like we've gotten snow every other day - in exactly the past week we've had 15" of snow fall here.

We had a couple of cold days and snow now. Not what I would call "the deep freeze" yet. Today I can here things melting and it definitely does not feel as cold. Considering I need to change the oil on my Grand Am, I call melting snow conditions a good day to get it done and be ready for the remainder of winter!!

Hope everyone is staying warm and doing well!

Good morning guys, one week til Christmas! We're in a thaw - 37 degrees this morning with a high of 41 today and 44 tomorrow.

This past Thursday, ground broke on the old Hudson's site in Downtown Detroit for what is to be Detroit's (and Michigan's) tallest building - new renderings were also released (see below). The new development will include an 800 ft. (58-story) tower with observation deck at the top and a 12-story podium with retail/event space; total square footage will exceed 1,000,000. This is the largest/tallest structure to be built in Detroit in 24 years (43-story Ally Detroit Center - 1993).

And a video of the history/future of the Hudson's site...

Wow -- is the top really that sharply angled, or is it just the perspective?

Good morning guys. Just 5 days til Christmas! We've lost almost all of our snow cover in the past 4 days so it looks like our chance of a white Christmas is very slim. And it doesn't help that our daily highs are suppose to get above freezing the next 4/5 days but it looks like we might have some snowfall Christmas Eve night.

The top is flat, it's just the perspective of the images.

Happy Friday, just 3 days til Christmas!

Anyone seen the all-new 2019 Silverado? There was a 'sneak-peek' in Texas earlier this week - It will debut at the Detroit Auto Show next month. It will remain steel-built (at least the bed) and not aluminum as many people were expecting. Chrysler is also debuting their all-new Ram at the Detroit Auto Show.

Merry Christmas Eve MCF! The last few days here the weather has been mild. Supposed to only get to 29 tonight. Just cold enough to make your Christmas clothes feel good!

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and prosperous New Year. Whatever Holiday you do celebrate I wish you peace. ☮️

Good morning guys, Merry Christmas Eve! Yesterday was in the mid-30s and sunny but temps are trending back down for a while; 16 degrees right now. We're looking at 2-4" of snow today and a little more tomorrow.

The wife and I did a Christmas Light tour last night to Downtown Detroit (couple pictures I took below), the Detroit Zoo and Downtown Rochester.

Hope everyone has a great Christmas!
