You just swap ur old tracks onto new seats. 6th gen seats r MUCH ore comfortable

That picture is pretty slick, your him to a T, wow what an amazingly crowded event. How many people are at something like that? Never been to one, looks like 20,000 people.

6th gen seats are supposed to much more comfortable than 7th gen. Could be a nice swap for your 5th gen. to get. Your right about the race jacket seat covers, unless you went all out on your Monte, they would throw me off if I saw them in a slightly altered Monte.

Good looking 5th gen, keep it up, do the man proud!!

 

What was it that the guy said in Gone in 60 seconds about the Eleanor Mustang You got a fine A** Eleanor............ Well I don't know if the 5th generation Monte Carlo can make that claim, but I made a change to the rear. See the photo of the before and after. I have circled all the items I changed. Beginning from the left the TAZ has Changed to a full color 3D Emblem, The Dale E. Chevy emblem is on Order someone kinda tugged on this one and it is bent you could not reuse it anyway. The New Bowtie has been mounted and the center section is now Black Vinyl Carbon Fiber look this idea is (Courtesy of the Black Rose Monte Carlo Montelicious) I believe this is a great idea and looks really nice and clean. Next I attached a new Intimidator emblem it is a domed Stainless SteelStyle.The tail section was completely repainted in Black and cleared prior to all the emblems being added. The backup lights are the shape of the Bowties and still need a Red Pinstripe on it to give it a nice clean look and I had the stainless SS on the lower left, FinallyMaybe some LED lights for backup lights, anyone have a good source for those items? Might need to squeeze and #3 on the back some place also. Biggest task was getting the old one off and the other on. I used to own 2 of these Monte Carlos one was a Red 96 the stupid thing would lock every time you started it and got out. This was my sons car I had so many extra keys for it, like the black squares on a checkered flag........... There you go!!!

 

There were some people in costume like Elvis and Marilyn that were walking on the street taking pics with people. We stayed in the Hotel called the Monte Carlo next to NY NY I got a pic of that too... There is supposed to be a Wax museum out there that had a wax Dale and a few other Racers I wanted to see but just not enough time.

 

(You are Driving with the Intimidator's Twin) is what it says on the door panel Courtesy of a friend of mine who had them made up. I also saw a decal on a Mirror for a Chevy Cruze. Kind of a neat touch I got some compliments about that at the car show last weekend. This also has the RK Sport full Ground Effects on it, needless to say that made it look really cool. The painted up nice and they were very easy to attach and I have had them on the car since 05. Then last Saturday on the Trip home I stopped along the road to pick up some debris and get it out of the roadway, I am just barely moving and this big old Black Lab decides to run into the Monte on the Passenger side. So I stop to check it out and he is fine his owner has him and is holding him in her arms. So the Car is fine too. It must have thought it was his big brother or something.
Then if you look at the Wheels on one of the spokes on each wheel I have the Intimidator decal, seen that on the Intimidator Camaro. Looks kool I gave each a shot of clear to make sure they would stay in place. Got a few more enhancements to share soon.

 

I thought it would be a good shot to compare the 2 Styles of Wheels that are on the Monte the 1995 to 1999 style and then the 2000 thru 05 Style Diamond cut. The look is so different and really an improvement. Hey even Taz is trying to tell me that the old ones should be replaced.

 

 

This one was at Kansas City and there was supposed to be 130,000 people there kind of a fun thing to attend you see it all. You see some drunks in the Parking Lot, you see the Tailgaters and just plain Fans. So we were down there one time I had my Daughter and my Son along and when it's time to leave the traffic is Bumper to Bumper, I was following this friend of mine out of the lot he was driving his Replica #8 Car, and some folks stopped him to take some Pictures of his car. They were trying to get me to keep on going past. So I leaned out the window and told them we were from the same town and were convoying back home. The guys were jumping up and down about seeing Dale and asked me to come get in the picture so I did. I seen 2 of them in shock drop there beers. So the one guy says wouldn't it be cool if Junior was here to get in the picture? and I said he is, he's riding shotgun with me, they went over to my Monte and there was my son who looks just like Junior. I thought the guy was gonna faint or something. So then on the way home folks are driving along side me to get a picture, so the photo they got was of the Black Monte in the attachment with me in front and Dale in the back window I have the same hat on, and some are thinking Junior is along side in the Shotgun seat. Pretty fun stuff.

This is just a shot of the Hood It got banged up pretty bad in a Hail storm. 2006 I was driving home on I-80 when I ran right into it. I had been listening to a CD instead of the radio. So when I checked the local Station they were asking for reports from the Interstate, I called them up and I identified myself as Big E, these guys knew me. So they asked where I was and I said I am just passing the rest area the Hail is hitting hard and Big as Snails splat the car I got both feet on the windshield and cruse set at 90. So for weeks every time somebody saw me they laughed about it. Just parking outside in the Hot Sun Popped about 97% of them on the Black car. By the time I saw an adjuster they wouldn't give me anything for the damages.
Anyway I got the Blue GM on there and the Red Plus and the bowtie. The Goodwrench Service is in Black for the ghost appearance look.
What I have intentions of doing when I can get enough time to get one made is have the Sign from the hood on the #3 from 1999 they call it the (Cage Rattler) Cause it looked like Dale spun Terry in Bristol in 99. Actually Terry was Looose and he slowed some and Dale Sped up sum and I could have spun him by kicking him with my shoe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
