Red Devil's only judged show appearance.
The past couple years I have entered my Monte in the local Madrid Labor Day Car Show since it's my home town. They usually get around 400 entries plus some that aren't judged so it's a good sized show for the area.
I really did a lot of extra work this year to try to really make it stand out. My class was 1987-2009 Modified. I was up against several very nice F-bodys, a custom 4th gen Monte, 2 Roush Mustangs supercharged, supercharged srt Challenger, and a supercharged Magnum just to name a few. It was a really tough class to be in.
Here are some pics of the process I went through and day of show pics. Hope you enjoy.
Hot water pressure washed the whole under carriage
black foam pad buffed the whole car then polished and waxed it.
I painted my engine cover and detailed my engine bay ( some may have seen this)
95% done waiting in the garage
Last check outside the day before
back in the garage waiting to make noise

day of the show. This is some of my class I was in
Even my Grandma came by to "judge" my car
I ended up coming home with a trophy. I was pretty happy to even place in the class I was in today.
No Show is complete without a victory burnout...or at least that's my Motto.

Thanks Chris. It was a nice surprise seeing her there. I don't think she has seen the car in a couple years but knows how much I have been working on it. Thanks again I worked pretty hard on it this year to make it look as good as possible I have to say I am very pleased with the end result.
I would have to guess a few of us
yeah for sure get a 7th gen emblem It would look cool on your car.

Congrats on the win! Hopefully burnouts were aloud there. I know many cruises and shows around my area got shut down do to people feeling the need to burn rubber when leaving meets and shows
