Here she is. Backed out of the 502whp pull do to fuel pressure drop. Fuel pump to small. Time to ditch the 255 and get a 400

We could of made the full 502 pull as it wasn't getting lean but we got scared. Estimated a full pull on that would of been 550whp ish

Couple of pics. Just got the gas tank back in - what a pain. It was an aftermarket replacement unit that didn't fit well at all....

Yeah, I welded all the extra holes closed on the upper radiator support as well as on the hood latch support, and painted them. It doesn't look as great as I'd hoped because the sheet metal along the front edge of the radiator support has a lot of 'ruffles' for lack of a better word where it goes around the bends. There is no way to grind it out, and it would take a bunch of filler to flatten- plus they're partially blocked by the headlight mounts- so I just left them.

No idea on a timeline to drive it. I'm really trying to get everything done to drive it before it gets real hot- but we're already hitting mid 90s some days. I did take a few days off work next week so I can have a 5 day weekend to crunch on it- but having all the necessary parts is always a problem (ie needing to run to the hardware store, order parts from Jegs that I didn't expect). We'll see...
