Default New Monte!

Hey guys!
Last year I was driving old blue which had 116,000 miles on it and it started shaking....which unfortunately turned out to be a head gasket problem. The car was just worn out. Everywhere....tires, body, engine, suspension, you name it. It was pretty obvious to me that once the gaskets were done it was going to be time for a new transmission, wheel bearings, tires...I had no interest in putting more and more money into it. I was going to sell it but ended up trading it in for a pretty much brand new 2003 SS w/ 22,000 miles at an Ohio dealership. I got $2,000 for old blue and purchased the yellow one for $8,000 which is a pretty damn good deal to me, considering the mileage. The previous owner kept EVERYTHING with it (original tags, plate, brochure, etc). The first things I did on the car was the red Taz stickers which are bigger than the pace car package ones, the windshield decal, and flushed out the Dex sludge. I plan on keeping her a long time!

(check engine light is for fuel tank pressure sensor)

Cool

that is a Nice Monte for sure, back in the day 60's & 70's I owned a Daytona Yellow 69 Chevelle SS 396 and I always loved that Car.
This one is real nice with super low miles what a deal you got. Where did you get the TAZ decals I have similar ones but I have not been able to find any for quite some time. Might have to go to a sign shop. I always liked the Taz mascot for the Monte Carlo. You can still see some of the Monte Commercials with Taz on youtube.

Once again great looking ride. Keep show casing it!!

Someone had a good day! Fate was smiling on you for sure, heck it is not even fully broken in, well just barely it is. The interior looks mint, plus you have the "Limited Edition" package. Really sporty looking, a lot of curb appeal. SNAG.....

I see the engine recall's been done....

Despite the fact that I can't imagine owning a yellow car, there's been one of these at the local county transportation yard for probably ten years now, and I drool every time I pass. One engine cover and two real floor mats away from perfection.

That mileage is insane! Very nice buy and beautiful car. Don't worry about the engine cover being gone do to warranty. To me that cover looks cheap and ugly. Pull some parts and paint them up to make that engine bay look tip top instead of trying to hide it with a piece of plastic
