Default New Exhaust

Got my new Dynomax exhaust put on today and so far I absolutely love it. Install took about 40 minutes to remove the old ones and weld the new mufflers in place. It's louder going down the highway now, but not over powering and when you rev it up you really hear the difference

Old mufflers removed

New mufflers installed

New exhaust tips installed

Good job Ken. Good to know that dynomax is a good product. I may consider that down the line.

looks good. What did you have on there before? When I got my catback done I had a choice of either magnaflow or flowmaster so I really dont know anything about dynomax. But Im glad you like it. Post a video of a start up if you can.

That's great Ken. I have a quote for $500 to install Dynamax Mufflers and a set of Tips to finish of my rear. I already have a Dynamax Cat and a MagnaFlow Resonator. Can't wait for the Mufflers and tips! Your review helps make the decision easier! Maybe I'll even replace the rear bumper cover?

$500 is a ripoff to get mufflers and tips installed... for reference, I had a flowmaster delta flow 40, 1 in 2 out, back to some nice 3.5" tips installed on my truck. I paid $280 for the mufflers, tips, pipe and install.

For that I would search around.

To the OP, I'm curious to see how Dynamax will hold up to the Ontario weather, the mufflers on my car lasted the winter which really actually surprised me being some cheap Thrush mufflers. The install looks good though!

See Mitch, this is why MCF is such a good site. It's people like you who say, "Hay Wait, that's too much to pay for that!"

There are other Exhaust shops in the area. And if I get the Mufflers and tips myself the cost should be much lower too. I'm not ready to purchase yet, so I can do Plenty of Shopping around. When I got my MagnaFlo Resonator installed my total cost was just under $200. I'll look around! Thanks Mitch!

No problem! I had this done at a place called 'speedies' it's more of a Mexican-run place, which isn't a bad thing, they just do cheap and good work.

I've also had just the mufflers replaced with tips on my monte, y-pipe added.. I supplied all the parts I think it ran me $80-120 at a different more custom auto shop.

Yeah see at this shop, I wasn't getting the parts, they were. I know if I get the parts all the charge me for is Labor. I was considering doing it that way for the full warranty. Their parts, their labor!
