got a cnc machine in my dads workshop had to test it out :P

also switched out the foot-well lights and dome light for red leds, going to do the map/mirror lights too

spent the last two days with my dad working on the car

-engine coolant flush
-oil + filter change
-new serpentine belt
-replaced both radiator hoses
-new water pump + gasket
-new spark plugs
-new upper intake manifold + gasket
-replaced the one valve cover gasket (prev. owner already replaced the other)
-new fuel injector o-rings
-and cleaned the numerous other parts that came off

got rid of the stock rims that I dipped black - finally got the ss rims I bought a while back balanced with new tires and put on!

dipped them with plasti dip pearlizer - still need to dip all the insets with black

It's a very subtle difference but to me it improves them a lot. Gives them a bit more of a pop! (some angles they look a little on the plastic side and others they look like they are 17's... so win some lose some) Once I mask off and paint in the black areas I'll spray over it all with the glossifer. I do miss my all black rims though, they looked good with the tinted windows and blacked out badges etc

Man your doing a great job on your car,my favorite part is probably the head unit,how do those audiobahn subs work? I wanted to use one for my center console build but I didn't want anything that's too loud.

just read this whole thread. youve done some very neat and yet very subtle mods to this car. great work. i love youre creativity when doing this. stands out

thanks guys! those subs are just sitting in my basement now. Been replaced with a single 12" JL audio sub and new amp too, i'll take pics of it tomorrow if I remember.

I think I need to get some new lug nuts, not sure if I should get black to hide/match the black paint i'll be adding to the wheels or chrome to make them stand out similar to the center cap.
Thoughts? on amazon they are only like $20
