My 1999 Monte Carlo Z34. I got the car off a neighbor who didn't drive a lot. Parked in a garage for over a year when I got it. Have replaced just about everything on the car for repairs. Have put some aftermarket on it too. First what I did was put a Pioneer stereo and speakers in it. I got Koenig Illusion wheels and some accelera tires on them. I absolutely love them. Black with the red trim. And then I got my windows Tinted. 35 in the front 20 in the back. And right now I'm looking for a nice catback exhaust system. I'm excited to see what I can do to my car and just building it.

Nice ride. Do some research on the exhaust. Lots of people say it sounds terrible, regardless of the exhaust setup. I have a 3" flowmaster 40 on my single exhaust and I like it... Of course I'm biased though. Good luck with the car, it's nice for sure.

Yeah that's factory paint on it. But it has only 56k on it right now. And before I bought it, it was sitting in a garage for a year not being driven. And then had to wait a few years to actually drive it. Because we got the car when I was I think 13. We got it because we got a really good deal off our neighbor and we had the room to keep it stored away.

Thumbs up Sweet Z34

Hi `Jesse,
You are a lucky young man to find a low mile great 5th Generation Monte Carlo Z34 in excellent condition. It had to be difficult to wait to drive it. Can you still park it in the garage ? Do you have a name for your Monte. When I was a kid a senior citizen gave me a Jesse James comic book & every time I met someone named `Jesse, I think of that book on Jesse James. Later I learned more about him & his history. (Way of topic 4-Sure) Oh, I also gave the Comic book to another kid & wish I would've kept it.

Keep us updated on your Mod's + your exhaust...We hope you make a vid & post it.

Wish you safe/fun miles in your Z34 Thanks for your update. >EnJoy<

No I can't keep it in a garage anymore. But actually my middle name is James. And kinda weird how I named my car. This year for school I had to read Count of Monte Cristo. And the main character which is the Count of Monte Cristo. His lover in the beginning her name is Mercedes. So I named my car Mercedes. Out of the weird correlation that I made between Monte Cristo and Monte Carlo.

Hi `Jesse James, WoW that's amazingly ironic that James is your middle name
Good correlation Name for your Monte

Sorry, you lost your garage spot Will you get a cover ?
Your Monte is just to nice to stay outside in the elements.
Thanks for your reply. Are you finished with school for the year ? What's your summer plans for you & Mercedes ?

I know but it's not terrible where it's at and I don't have a cover for it though. I drive it all year. But I do have another set of wheels and tires for the winter. And they are like the best you can get. I can drive through a lot of snow actually. And yeah I'm done now. I'm actually graduating Sunday. And for this summer I just plan on working on her doing little and big things.
