I know a lot of people just had them made out of vinyl when replacing because the badge was expensive. I didn't mind the cost (but it also wasn't that expensive direct from GM through a parts person that I knew), the silver badges on my black car looked a lot better than the black ones that you couldn't even see.

There is one set on EBay and they want $113.50 plus shipping......EACH~! GM has discontinued them. Well I am already in this car up to my ***, guess I will get deeper. Thanks.

Ahhh... paint photos! Paint photos are always the most rewarding photos for the before-and-after effect. Thanks for sharing - I'll continue watch this thread with great interest.

Here is the before pic. Didn't look too bad, but up close pretty awful. Fixed the rust too.

I appreciate the offer, and may take you up on it if I find my way up north.

True. Also z-cars and G35s.

Sucks that the emblem broke, but if you want them you'll have to pay, and you may as well pay now while they're still available.

According to Ebay, these were the last two available. They are also supposed to come with a diagram for exact placement. I am also getting back the original ones, they are not broken but he is unable to get them affixed. I will keep you posted. I get the car back tomorrow.

Back on topic, that color is absolutely majestic and she is looking FRESH man
He told me he applied 4 coats of clear coat. He said let it cure, and in a few weeks find a really good shop and let them polish it out. Knock your eyes out.

The weather has not been kind. It is pouring today, so she stays in the garage. Managed to get one pic yesterday late in the day.

Just got in it after the paint work.
