Best of Show today at Local Car Show
Wow I returned home form Missouri last week and went to Colorado Springs for the Labor day weekend and got back home again on the 6th. This Morning I am reading some of last weeks news papers and find the add for a Car show today. So I had to try it out. Wow! I won the Best of show Plaque. Never even thought I would score a ribbon? Pretty kool.
Every one saw the Dale look and there were several Kodak Moment's.
They even had the Lt. Governor there, got to meet him too.

It does for sure. Kind of fun I never even thought about a car show on a Wednesday. But they were doing this as a Promotion for the awareness of the Wounded Warriors Family Support Group. They had the Shelby Mustang that made an appearance and you could sign the Car, so I made a donation, and the signature. It's almost full. I don't know if I won the car if you could get all the Silver Sharpie off without a repaint.

Took me by surprise they would have a car show on a Wednesday.
But they had a respectable amount of entries. Some folks got A Gas Pump Trophy, which was real kool too.

I thought that they had a respectable amount of entries. Some folks got A Gas Pump Trophy, which was real kool too.
But they were doing this as a Promotion for the awareness of the Wounded Warriors Family Support Group. I have done some fundraisers for several charities that assist the Veterans and families. I am glad they have chose to help out with this type of cause.
Some of the people there had seen me in a TV commercial or another show.
I was not prepared for the photo's opps. it was lucky I had an old Jacket still in the Car and a Hat.
I usually keep the Helmet in the Car.
When I drove there is was raining some so I was thinking I needed to wipe the car down? But I didn't even get it dirty in the few miles I drove. I just wiped it dry and it was good to go.

Another Car show???
Well today was the Annual town Festival and among all the activities they had a Car show.
So I went down to it?
There were a lot of nice Classics there and a few Muscle Cars dating back to the 70's.
The classics were the winners for sure.
I parked next to a Mustang that was a Black car so I fit in with my Monte, it was most likely less than 10 years old and he was all over it polishing and stuff. He never got a thing.
They did a peoples choice and a mechanics choice. All went to the 50's era Trucks and Cars and they were really nice.
But I got to see some nice rides and BS with a few folks, too.
Fun stuff.
