Default Back in my life!

The Monte is finally out of hibernation.

She fired right up, no troubles! But one of my 18s isn't holding air

So I'm running 1 ugly rim with my good one in the trunk while I can find the time to get that rim down to a tire shop and see why it's not holding.

So it's back down here with me, but it's sitting covered until I can get that tire fixed

Got the car up, oil changed, tires swapped:

Threw a quick tune on it:

and cleaned her up:

Also since the weather was just phenomenal...

We got the 68 out for the first ride of the year

The Camaro looks really nice. How did you get your steering wheel like that?

Thanks!

The steering wheel is just a wheelskins cover. I picked mine up from PFYC (my car is actually one of the "model" shots for it).

I hear ya there! Make sure you have some cold spark plugs in that beast. I'm getting a couple degrees of KR on my 3.1", once I get that worked out I'm gonna try and get her trailered somewhere for a hopefully high 12 second run!

Already got the same plugs and gap that Zipper was running on his CSC.

I just want to get into the 13s right now. Even if it is just a 13.9999

That's Great that you have the Monte back in your life... (I wish)
Mines still in the shop...

Is that the OEM color on the 68 Camaro? That thing looks friggn gorgeous! I always wanted a 68 or 69.. But it never panned out.

Your one lucky sole! YES... I'm Jealous....

Awesome stuff Mike (minus the wheel issue). I wish working on the summer toys at my house went as well (Monte went perfectly, but the wife's Mustang, eh, I made an error that I should have known better).....
What's done is done lol!

Glad the Monte is back with you safe and sound!

No, they didn't offer this metallic red on the 68, but it's beautiful so I can look past that
