When I was pulled over for racing I got a slap on the wrist, 20 MPH over (instead of the 55 over) and a couple points.

I was lucky. But usually racing will be 6 points and that's a loss of license.

My dad use to do road patrol about 10 years or so ago, and he said when he caught people in tricked out cars of any kind and a radar he would be much more "stern" about why they were pulled over. I was also told radar detectors pick up too many wrong channels and go off too often, otherwise he would have one in his truck.

Also, anything about laser detecting is an even bigger waste. It takes less then 2 seconds for an officer to pull the trigger and get a reading of how fast you were going. Can your car slow down in less then the time it takes a person to pull a trigger and read numbers?

all i can say is 9500IX it learns areas so no more false signals after i hits a false signal once it wont go off again for that false signal, & a Blinder M47 laser jammer system is all you need

Maybe because it hasn't been said, but there is no such thing as a "best" place to street race.
