well its titled as a GT does that count, its all they samne just double the hp & runs low 11s

 

I want to take on a V6 challenger with my NA 3800, then when its supercharged, take on an R/T. anyone do that yet?

 

ive taken on a str8 charger and a str8 300. was keeping up with the charger cause we were in traffic but not the 300. that thing was fast. i would race anything just to see what the other car has got. its not just about the car, but about the driver!

 

old 5.0 mustangs are easy wins. usually 6-7 car lengths. they are all noise.
95-2004 GT's are easy wins
almost anything V6 is an easy win haha, unless its turbo'd

i raced a charger daytona with a 5.7, and barely edged him out. very, very close race. closest race i've ever been in but i did win it. so proud of my car lol. it had to be because his car is 700 lbs more than mine. only about 60 WHP difference between us.

an R/T i think would be a different story i think right now, maybe after i do meth injection and my tranny parts are installed later this month lol.


i've always wanted to see how my car stacked up against a newer monte, dont think i've ever had one wanting to run me.

had a civic tell me at a stoplight he didnt try to race me because he heard my supercharger when i teased him. love that line. best ever.

 

5.0 is usually pretty good on the street. they could run high 13s on a sticky tire with gearing, a little timing and a super aggressive driver. then again by now the car is either not stock or beat to ****.

believe it or not, i was on my way to p-cola and i drove by this lambo a silver one. and passed him up, but slowed down to get becide him. i looked him right in the face gave the classic "nod" and punched it. needless to say epic fail!! his girlfriend laughed her *** off when i passed him up after he had slowed down miles ahead of me down the freeway. it was funnie. you should check my thread of how i almost got spanked by grannys buick. never again. lol

 

I'd like to race an LS4 Monte Carlo in my SS M90'd car. I think I'd walk one hard from a stoplight, but think it'd be close on the highway. I test drove a bunch of LS4 cars (Montes and Impalas) awhile back- they pull sooo nicely at higher speeds.

 

What would your 3.8 pulley on a top-swap be equivalent too?? a 3.4???

Because I regularly drive a V8 Monte and I think a 3.4 pulley will beat it (especially a tuned one that will shift much better) Figure they are both 300 crank HP

 

i raced a lambo once with my sierra, i pulled up nxt to him & he gave me a funny look & down shifted & took off, i sprayed & passed him right up lol
