I was coming from a dealership when this black cobalt ss pulled up next to me and he flew pass me. I got next to him and we both gunned it and we were still next to each other but a big semi truck was in my lane and I had to slow down and he was out of here. We were both going over 100 easily but I had to slow down or I would have killed myself because of the truck. I really wished that truck wasn't in my way cuz I wanted to see how fast those cars actually are. I really want to get my PCM flashed CAI and smaller pulley. I need more power

I agree that would be a nice race. I test drove a Cobolt SS and they are pretty quick for what they are. But if you do the mods that you spoke of I think you would take it.

 

Yea those cars are fast but I think once I get my mods I will be able to get at it. But that little car had to be going about 130 after I slowed down. And your right they do handle well cuz he was at that speed going around a couple of turns.

 

Was it a Supercharged Cobalt or NA Cobalt?

Just hope he isnt modded cuz a Modded SC/SS can be nasty from a Roll.

 

now you do relise some of the colbalts are nothign more then a cavilier with a 3800 supper charged motor in them dount you?

they will eat your lunch if you dont catch this in the beggingin and not punch it.

go to googel and serch cobalt sites and look at the numbers some of them are putting down for what they are they are a real quick speed bump

 

Yea I know those cars are super fast. Like I said once I slowed down that car was out. It was no way that I could have caught up to it.

Honestly that was the fastest thing I ever raced that I was racing on the highway. I have raced a few camaros and one on the highway that made me realize I STILL HAD A V6 because it smoked me by a couple car lengths and no car that I have raced has done that. I know it was pushing about 130.

I did not try to race this camaro it pulled up next to me and started playing with me. I know for a fact that it was modded and probably had headers

 

also I was reading I think on motor trend and it said that the newer ones will have a turbo charged instead of a supercharger in it.

It said it would hit 0-60 in 5.7 seconds
I dont remember the top speed of the car.
that is going to be one ugly fast *** cobalt.
