i wasn't talking about corvettes. everyone in this forum should know that the corvette is faster than the charger and u really shouldn't compare the cars.

like I said if u put money into just about any car u can bring it to life

Very true. Hell, if I ever see one of those SRT's around I'll try and pull up next to it, of course that might not work unless it's being driven by some guy from Wyo-Tech that has no money as most of them have 60-70 model car/trucks that look straight up amazing. I think I've seen about 1.5 Chargers around, loads of 'Stangs, and a handful of older Camaros and newer Trans-ams with a few Montes mostly of the 6th gen.

For being here for about 2.5 months I've almost raced a Prius, didn't even know we were racing until he took off, so I gave about 1/4th throttle and flew past

Hell, I can't even get any of the 3,674 'Stangs around here to race me, pulled up to a GT the other night and rev'ed 'er up so did he, and yet he didn't even get off the line. I was sad, I have yet to race any 'Stang...

The V6 stangs are fodder... have fun with your 3.9. The 90's V8's can put up a fight.. don't mess with them (as in try to toy with them.... you better go full throttle all the way... and you should get them). The 'Stangs of the 99-04, 05+ are pretty mean too... but they are heavy and will proabbly get you in the end. Of course.. this is all assuming no one has any mods.

I think your racing stripes are scaring them away

Dont v6 chargers go from 0-60 in about 9.5 seconds. I've seen You Yube videos of 3.5 chargers and I honestly think my 95 Escort could take it. I've also raced a hemi verision from 35 to 60 mph twice and they quickly get about a car lenght but thats about it. I think I could of had a better chance if I would of shifted to first gear. 3.9 version sucks at shifting gears at WOT. Ive also gunned it with an SRT-8. He litereally left me standing still. It was a pretty awesome site though.

Ha, that may be it, but then again I've only had the stripes on for the last 2-3 weeks and that Prius was just last week or so, after the stripes.

All I've done is drop in K&N for now with res delete and Flo-Pro's with 3" tips, so if I got anything from that it got canceled out by the two 12s I through in the trunk over break.

I've noticed that, although it seems to get the shift done a bit faster if you let off while it's trying to shift, but maybe that's just me.

My 3.9 has no problem shifting at WOT, she downshifts and shifts good on WOT. I don't have a problem with lag or anything just picks right up. And a downshift from about 32-33, you'll get thrown back in your seat hard

went for a ride in one about a month ago... and he's right.. had probably a little MORE power than mine did in stock form... the 3-1 downshift around 35 MPH was great...

I love how my Monte runs. and should run better in the summer.

had probably a little MORE power than mine did in stock form
See and when I tell people I have beatin a SS/SC from a roll and a stop, people don't believe me because the Supercharged has 40 ft/lb more of torque

That would be fine with me, like I've said before I didn't think I would win, maybe your a better driver then the people I've raced, maybe I'm a better driver then the people you've raced. I'm just saying that when I've told people I've beaten one they called me a liar until the person in the SS/SC said I've beaten them. A stock SS/SC is suppose to runs 15.1 in a 1/4 and people have reported the 3.9 runs just as quick 1/4. So could be many different factors to why the race turned out the way it did. Just to bad we won't get the chance to race each other to prove the fact either way.
