Nissan Altima vs me

RE: Nissan Altima vs me
The numbers you posted are for the 3.5 manual. The auto is a full second slower 0-60. What a difference huh. Talk about a power-robbing transmission.

RE: Nissan Altima vs me
Hi `Matt,
I agree their auto robs a lot of power : (
I prefer a manual transmission over a automatic...4 Sure : )
Those are good numbers, and Nissan does have
a powerful V-6 Engine.
I know that Pontiac put a 6 Speed Manual Trans with the
3.9L Engine, but the reports stated that the shift linkage was not
that good.
I do like the VQ Engine : )
The responsible party for this rocket- like velocity is the new 3.5 liter, DOHC, 24-valve, V6 that generates 240 horsepower and 246 pound-feet of torque. Part of Nissan's award winning VQ engine series, the 3.5 V6 utilizes a modular engine design, continously variable valve timing, and a responsive electronic "drive-by-wire" throttle.
I wish that the Monte Carlo had a six speed auto or stick : )
Oh, when do you leave for school ?
Hope that U stay in contact with the MCF.
Thanks for your posts.

I do also likeNissan's 3.5 V6. Its a stout engine.Im glad GM is finally taking a step toward the DOHC engines. The new GM 3.6L is DOHC isnt it?
