i raced my brother who has a 68 mustang with a fresh 94 cobra 302 punched to a 306 with all msd and 8mm accel wires a new cam, all edelbrock carb and intake no a/c no power steering, 3inch exhaust with two flows dumped behind the axel, rebuilt auto tranny with a 2400 stall, and a k/n filter, i beat him by 2 1/2 at the quarter strip we have , he spun some but only about a ten of a second lost spinning

Indeed, sibling rivalry is always fun.

I just got another win last night too!! Well, actually,I wouldn't really call it a win as it wasn't much of a race.I pulled up next to a riced out '93 or '94 Eclipse. Fart-can and the whole 9 yards. I was talking to my wife at the time on my cell. I heard him revving next to me, so i looked over and he nodded at me.I smiled and shook my head, then looked back at him and nodded at him. Light went green, I let him roll first, thenI dropped the hammer. It was embarrassing for him. We got to the next light and he started again. We went again. Same result. At the next light, we weren't in front, so I moved over to the right and him to the middle. When it went green, I hung back while he took off, came in behind him and took the outside lane as we went around a bend. He tried to follow and keep up, but the 3.8 was too much for his rice machine!! The whole time this was going on, I was still on the phone with my wife, and she never knew what was happening. Felt sorry for the kid.

i just got one in my 88 today. me and my friend were wondering (well i already knew lol) what was faster his 98 mitsu mirage or my 88 carlo. so we ran out of school and found an abandoned road. both put our 4ways on and my other friend started the race. i will leave the rest to your imagination. wasn't much of a race.
