Default Engine swap

Can some list the engines I could put in my 2002 Monte Carlo ss that everything would link up correctly and so I won't have to give a drivetrain swap or anything and I would prefer the same transmission but that's prob not gonna happen lol

A 3800 Series II either naturally aspirated which is a direct drop in, or you can go supercharged 3800 Series II but you will need wiring harness, new PCM or have yours tuned, you can keep the same transmission but will need it tuned to the gear ratio as the supercharged engines have a different ratio.

Oh I'm sure you can make an LS motor fit. A lot of work either way. LS4 is FWD, but a lot of wiring I'm sure. Otherwise, there's a lotta learning to be done about making a car RWD.
