lately i've raced two intimidators. thugs haha. i can barely see them through their illegally tinted front windows (illegal in CA) rollin' on 20"s. they see me on the freeway and mash on it. I laugh for a few seconds, punch it and roll by them. my past two highway fly byes have been with other monte's....no one else lately
i dont like beating my own breed, but im not one to back down either

when i first got my car cammed i was wanting to race just about anything with wheels. now i'm more of enjoying cruising at low speed watch the V8 guys staring at my ride cuz my exhaust is louder and sound choppy than theirs, lol.

I think your car is not running right without the MAF. You should get that fixed. You may not realize it in everyday driving, but I would bet you took a decent HP loss by unplugging it. Get that fixed. Also, your straight pipe exhaust probably is a little drastic for a pretty much stock 3800, you are loosing some lowend torque with that set up. Put a good aftermarket muffler on there so you still get a good free flow, but its not completly open...

When the MAF fails, you're PCM falls back to a pre-set fueling table (Primary VE) that's based on RPM. These are usually way off from the factory. It also falls back to the Low Octane Spark Table, which is down 5-10* from the High Octane Table in different points. This is a MAJOR difference.

You're probably down 20-25 HP from stock right now. Your gas mileage is probably down significantly as well.

Back before my SS M90, I got spanked by a Dodge Ram V8 from a light in my Monte. It was horrible. I don't have to worry about that now.

get that MAF sensor fixed ASAP. thats going to KILL your times (plus as mentioned above, destroy your MPG too...)
