3RD TIME RACING AT THE TRACK
I went and raced at Firebird Raceway PHX AZ and had alot of fun, It was really busy and I never seen so many turbo diesels before at the strip, there was a variety of all cars there.
I race three times and I have improved a little.
My first race
Reaction time .007
60' 1.791
1/4 15.826
90 mph
Mysecond race
Reaction time .538
60' 2.275
1/4 15.787
90 mph
Mythird race
Reaction time .496
60' 2.455
1/4 15.776
90 mph
I raceda mustang that was heavily modified and a new GTO and a new GT Stang
The GT Stang ran 14.8
I lost all three times but Its hard to match up with a car close to me engine wise becasu there are six lanes and they mix up the races.
A nissan spec v was doing high 16' low 17' in the quarter mile
A ford Focus was doing about the same
I didn't see a new stock stang v6 though
A srt8 Chrysler 300 did 12.5 sec in the qaurter mile.
Alot of fun and a safe time
I predict with my stock wheels I would do mid to low 15's and If it was tuned a high 14 probably with cold air intake and dual exhaust.
Yes I ran with the 20's on for wheels

Thanks.
I reved and launched at 1500 rpms
I couldn't launch any higher
I had my left foot on the brake reving with the right foot and letting go of the brake punching the gas at the last yellow as it was gonna turn green

RE: 3RD TIME RACING AT THE TRACK
You need to take those 20's off or something. In my LTZ with the 3.9 I have beat cars on the streetthat have run from 15.1-15.3 at the track all day long. Also agree a spec v only running high 16's-low 17's. My buddy had an older one and it would run mid 15's stock and he has an 07 now and I beat him by a length, length and a half and that car is faster than his old ones. It's an easy low 15 car
