I'd wax ur car too.

i did the same kit. its a GREAT kit. L36 ss M90 kit courtesy of zzp. im running higher comression, higher boost than your L67. ~9Lb of boost with 21 degrees timing with a 3.8 SS pulley. thats right, a bigger pulley than yours making more power. GM shouldnt be ashamed of making money in any market (besides geo, they were worthless), they should be ashamed of letting you buy a car and trashing it. in your own words, you can put a bow on a pig or some crap like that, but its still a pig. this isnt the first thread i've read with you all up in everyones face. you have a chevy and thats what this forum is about, owning a monte or similar cars with similar engines and having respect for each other. if you think your car is better than everyone elses you should've bought a benz or something and went to their forums. we respect each other around here.
everyone can do the mods they want, people are just tryin to help you out with proven KR. if you dont want to believe it thats fine its your car. but before you judge anyone elses car, you need to look at ur own.

He definitely belongs in the Clubgp.
I think he would be welcomed right in, with swears left and right.

This is the second thread Ive come across where you trash talk, talk down to other people, dis their cars, ect. Thats not needed here. You can deny it all you want and insult people to take the focus away from you, but in the end, thats what you are doing and its not welcomed here. Now can we get back on topic?

21* of timing! Holy crap, that's close to stock L36 timing. Have you thought about pulleying down a bit- maybe see how a 3.5-3.6 at 18.5* compares to the 3.8 at 21*?

Looks like that SSIC is really working out for you. I might try to pick one up on Friday if ZZP's "black Friday" sales live up to their hype.

haha ya im gonna drop a pulley size, but I too am awaiting the sale to pick up the pulley. last year they had pulleys for like 25 bucks, and the SSIC dramaticlly helped.....just make sure you do an independent setup with a seperate resovior instead of tapping the radiator...keeps temps lower. I ended up grabbing a moroso resovior and putting it next to my intake and running it from their. got headers on the way so i should probably be able to run the 3.4 SS pulley with all this.

Thanks for the tips. Your car is going to HAUL on a 3.4 pulley.

ya i had an impala ltz run up on me last night coming over the bay bridge....he kept good pace, but i had him by a couple car lengths. good to see my mods actually do some damage vs. close to stock supercharged HP. my torque pulled on him bad.

So you ran against a 3.9L impala?

I wouldn't consider the 3.9 close to L67 at all. The HP numbers may be close, but the L67 has like 40-50 lbs of torque.

Great run though I like going around destroying the 3.5s, I like that you take the 3.9s haha

well i went neck and neck with a non supercharged 3.8 monty last night. i hate my speed limiter we were pretty close but my speed limiter kicked in befor his did i freakin hate that. the guy was pissed that my speed limiter hit that soon as well. he told me i was starting to pull up close to him till it hit. he and i are looking for a place that has a dyno thats close. so we both can have a proper tune on our cars and see if i can get that speed limiter set at 120 or at least 115 where at least outher montys have them set at. i am happy at least i could keep up till 107 with a 3.8 with my 3.5 v6
