Shawn,

Well, it hasn't blown up because I did not ghetto rig a blower onto a ragged out L-dirty-6 s@#box. The L67 has a low compression motor that is built for boost...not something like the L36 pulled from a Buick Century. Chevy should have been ashamed to put anything as weak as the L36 into a Monte. And WTF is up with having a Buick Regal and a Monte...I understand why you would want a Monte, I mean just look at it. But a Regal?

You know a good amount of L67s have knock while they are completely stock right?? Then when you drop pulley sizes your risk for piston chipping becomes MUCH greater.

Buick Centuries actually have the 3.1 engine.

And his Buick... has the same engine that you have.

I can't hate on buicks since the L67 is a Buick motor. And the Century's base engine was the 3.1, but they also came with the L36. Thats why the Centuries last so long, the L36 is a great economical sedan motor...one of Ward's 10 best....but it is a POS for performance and can't hold a candle to the L67. You can put a bow and a dress on a pig, but its still a pig.

Wow...I honestly don't even know where to start. How about with: Both my Regal GS and my Monte Carlo would wax your about-to-blowup 3.25 pulley'd Monte up and down and back and forth on any road or strip in the world?

All of the newer Century's came with the 3100 V6, even upper models. You would need to opt for the Regal to get the 3800!

lol...I'm sure you would, after all...I don't have a Wizaired.

And I coulda swore my grandads Century had a 3.8...maybe it was a 3.1....I stand corrected....

If you wanna wax my Monte, I would be happy to provide you the opportunity....take 95 south...way south...and bring plenty of Meguires cause you'll be putting on a few coats.

Are you going to make it worth my while to drive by laying down a friendly wager?

Want to meet half way? There are some nice tracks in North Carolina. I'll get the whole thing on video.

Shawn,
North Carolina huh...I am going to be in the Pigeon Forge area at the end of March with the ole RV...are the tracks open that early? I'm sure I could tow the Monte up there on a dolly. Down here the tracks are open year round so I don't know how that works up in the cold places. Do you have any times for that bastadized Monte...or do you have some ricer excuse for not getting it to a track yet? I see the Regal is pretty damn slow, I hope you are a loyal Chevy guy and make sure the Monte is the fastest in your fleet. So when did you put the blower on anyway?

greg.

The tracks are open year round in NC, but March? That's a long way off. We should do this sooner. Any ETs on your 3.0 pulley'd monster? And you never responded to my request for a friendly wager? You need to make this worth my time.
