I'm looking for a stock 3800, Series II engine cover.

Finding one in a local salvage yard is like finding a '00-05 Monte there. The yards won't even claim they have one in their yards.

 

what year are you looking for rj? i think mine (05) is different than an 04. morad has a couple on ebay. http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Morad-Pa...&submit=Search

I have no idea what one of the covers goes for? With their shipping cost from Morad to me their cover will be $31.

 

seems like a good price to me. that is where i got my new one from for a couple bucks more (i think it was $35? with shipping). just needs a good scrub and it'll be ready to paint. i haven't had time yet, but i did put it on the car and it gives the engine a nice clean look, even without having really cleaned it well yet.

 

x1000 for Morad. Even if you can get a few bucks cheaper, tell them you can and they will work with you probably.
