hi am interested in buying your unwanted u87 amp setup...powers 8 speakers...just looking to get a little more out of my factory system without doing to much extra work besides adding 4 extra speakers...if u have those i want to buy also..thanx for help---jc--

not sure if thats what your looking for, but i dont believe it was an option on any of our cars, but i could be wrong, never heard of a monte with an 8 speaker stereo system unless it was completely custom

 

http://www.speedwheels.com/chevrolet...ptions....this is the site that mentioned this U87 option 280 watts-- 8 speakers-- offered on the dale earnhart jr. edition 2004....just an option on the checksheet for u to choose ... not many people went for it i guess..i somewhat suspect the 8 speakers might be wordplay by GM...though..pontiac grand prix 2006 models talk of having 8 speaker systems under a U87 option..might be offered on other years ??? pontiac...also found a sub amp on ebay for pontiac, seperate & different from other offered amps ...im still tracking down info on the monte amp i found a site offering the amp ,too much money though...part # is 10352547
