Wanted: Spoiler Stand Up/Flat One
Hi: Does anyone know what is all involved in switching over from the flat/Surfboard one over to the straight stand up/NASCAR one found on some models??Are the holes the same?? etc. What's the part # from GM on the stand up one or finding a used one??
It's best to call me directly on contacting me for I'm not on here a whole lot!!

We don't really allow posting your phone number to get advice on the forum, so I removed that for you, THIS IS a public place.
Here's the information you want though.
You have 4 holes in your spoiler that will need to get filled, and then you'll have to drill new mounting holes for the 00-05 stand-up spoiler. Plus repainting all the areas that the surfboard were touching.
Additionally, the 06/07 SS spoiler is a DIRECT fit in the bolt holes, however some parts still show through from the surfboard damaging the trunk-lid so you would have to get it painted again.
Here's pictures from my swap.
Here you will see my beautiful surfboard that I hated:

Here's some damage that will be left over after the swap:

So you have to take the spoiler off and make some fixes and then get the trunklid repainated:

But then you have a beautiful new spoiler!!!

Then the back-end of the car looks much much better
