Rear deck speakers
I'am looking for a set of replacement speakers for my 87 Aero Coupe, its a "G" body. NOS would be my first choice, but a used set in very good condition will work too. I want to keep my Monte stock so any help or ideas will be welcome. Thanks, Joe
PS anybody living in the Vegas area send me a PM and we'll get together.

Have you checked Craigslist? I live in Oklahoma City and, looking around CL, have seen great deals for good audio/video equipment for cars and homes. I was going to get another amp for the car but overslept and someone else bought it before I could, lol. Anyway, look around and see what you find!

I have an 88 and would also like to put decent speakers in the car. I am less worried about stock since mine is an LS but so far haven't found any options.

From the factory they came with 4 x 10 speakers. Back when I had my 1986 SS i replaced them with 6 x 9's. They used to make an adaptor to use 6 x 9's. Not sure if you can still find that adaptor anywhere though.

Speaker adapters
Thanks Guys, I ordered the adapters, and I'am going to order a set of those replacement speakers also. If I don't like the sound then I'll have the adapters to use some other speakers. The ones in my Aero coupe are origional and have started to buzz, and sound like crap, but after 22 years, its expected. I'll post some pictures of my car as soon as I figure out how to do it. My computer skills are pretty weak. I need to post pictures on Rennlist of my Porsche also. Thanks for all the help, Joe
