Ken what is a reasonable price for you? I plan on going to the pull a part this weekend to get a couple of parts for my Monte, if the amp is still in and it hasn't been rained on I might be about to get it for you. I don't know how much the amp will be but I can always check.

If you don't want to spend any money, you can always bypass it.
Should work for your car too.

i am very challeneged when it comes to these types of things, but i saw this harness linked in another thread, would this work as well?

Does anyone know if the 01 impala has the same type stock amp as the monte carlo? I found an impala at a junk yard but didnt know if its the same?
