was going to use it in my regal(as a just in case thing) but no longer have that heaping pile of junk.. Hardware included & has been kept in a air-tight container(prevent dust contamination)

 

I'm good on coils, but I'm asking for anyone else interested. Are they supercharged coils (blue plug underneath) or non-supercharged coils (gray plug underneath).

Regardless of what type of coil, they will work on any GM 3100/3400/3800. If they are supercharged coils, they add a little improvement to throttle response (I'm running SC coils on my '02 Grand Am, the wife's Impala both with 3400's and my L36 Monte). That rust on the one terminal can be easily cleaned up with a Scotch-brite pad.

I tried removing it with a nice grit sandpaper, still didn't come off. I'll try other things.

 

GM used the same coils in the 3100/3400/3800 L36 and :26 (both naturally aspirated). but the L67, and possibly the Series III Supercharged had different coils. They yield a slightly improved throttle response (and use the same ICM and wires as the N/A setups).

$30 is a great price for them and they work as a great cheap mod to any car not using them. The change is minimal, so $30 is the cap on what I've recommended paying for a set.

I had them on my 3100 in my old '94 Grand Am. I did not notice much change when I put them on (as I said, it was slight), but I noticed a LOT of change when I removed them before selling the car.

 

I'll take the coils if you still have them.
