I recently bought a pair of Black plastic OEM "Monte Carlo SS" ones off of eBay for $30 plus $7.00 shipping. ($15 ea.) It says they are for Jeff Gordon Hendrick Motorsport edition, but they just say "Monte Carlo SS" on them. My friend has them on his 05 Monte and they look fine to me. But custom ones like you guys are all making would be extra sweet for sure. 
Brand new 2002-2005 Monte Carlo SS 2003 Jeff Gordon Edition Hendrick Motorsport sill plate in black. GM # 88980277. Replace your old and worn sill plate with this brand new one today. Sold individually only.

If you aren't opposed to making a bit of christmas money....
I used a Monte Logo and sheets of Fiberglass... Turned out pretty cool I think.... I'm gonna see how many I can make and see if anyone else wants a set.... Until they make the real ones...
How much you gonna ask for a set?

I was very impressed so I sent this email to them:
"I'm inquiring about having custom-made stainless steel door sill plates made for my 6th generation Monte Carlo SS. I'm not sure if your company even takes requests such as this, but I would absolutely love to hear back from you because I know others who would be interested in such a product."
Here's the reply I got:
"We dont have those in stock but if we get a certain amount of people (10 sets of drro sills) we can produce them for sure."
THEREFORE, we only need a total of 10 people (or less if you wish to purchase more than one set) to order custom-made "Monte Carlo SS" door sills. What do you say, MCF???

MonteCarlo isn't even on the list of Models.
Let alone for a 5th Gen. I'd be interested in some door sill accessory.
