Tadd , I hear you about feeling burnt out on the car shows because I have been doing the car shows / rod runs since about 1980 .Now I cut back on how many I go to. My wife stopped going along time ago. I am going to the Frog Follies sat. 8-23 . three hour drive one way in my 1940 Chevy. Its a fun time there but I have a fun time driving there too..
Best of luck with your sale..

I hope you change your mind but if you end up selling I hope you find a good home for the Deuce. It is one of the most recognizable Montes here and is one of a kind. Good luck Tadd I know things are kinda rough right now. I wish you the best with everything.

The reality is you will end up keeping the Monte unless your willing to take a significant hit on your perceived value. I know I would not get very much on my Monte even though there has been a small fortune spent on it.

Maybe a Barrett Jackson listing would get the deuce some exposure to people with some deeper pockets than the average Joe out looking for a DD.

Good luck, you may just have to cut your losses, say you had a good time with her and move on down the road in your RV and enjoy the next phase of your life. Thats probably how things will go with my Monte, I'm about burnt out on it too. Way to much energy being spent on it, you eventually realize it takes over all your free time and your life...

Hi `Tad,
"We all have to do what we all have to `do" (?) or do we ?
I just discovered your thread & I know that I had a difficult time when I sold my Monte to pay for college expense.

I regret it, but it is what I had to `do
I hope that you have given it a lot of thought (?) (I'm sure that you have).

My advise of opinion is that `if you need the $'s (?) then I would market your Deuce on Top Sites, but `if you don't need the $'s (?), I would let it rest (covered `up so U can't see it)...resist the temptation (lol) In a short time, you will want to undress it & drive it again & again...It's a small investment for joy & fun!

You have made your Monte yours > There's only one like it on Planet Earth like yours. Take a break from the shows & just drive it when you desire...You could never get another vehicle to replace it for what you could get for it in today automotive market.

I hope that you make the right decision for YOU!

The best of luck on whatever you `do....If you do sell, you are not permitted to leave the MCF 4-Sure

Keep us updated `OK

I was thinking the same as Greg, if you're really deadset on selling, see if you can get it on barret jackson.
