2004 Intimidator
Hey guys, I've lurked on this forum for years, but I haven't been extremely active. I thought you guys would be the place to turn now that I've decided it's time to part with my 2004 Monte Carlo Intimidator edition. She's number 2,909 of 4,000. The car started its life as a GM Demo car. I figure it was one of the cars they used for display in malls and such. It was built in 5/04 according to the sticker on the driver's door. I bought it in 2007 with just over 27,000 miles. It now has just over 76,000. I'm technically the second owner (not counting GM), although it was registered in my dad's name originally for insurance purposes when I was younger. I'm located near Anniston, AL. For those who don't know, that's about two hours west of Atlanta, 3 hours south of Chattanooga, and an hour and a half east of Birmingham. I'm looking to get $10,000 for it. I hope someone is interested!

Cool! It's ironic that you also have the 1970 Chevelle SS 396. My dad had the same car in the same color. His was in need of restoration and he sold it in 1997. He still wishes he had it back. We love SS cars in my family, and I hope the Intimidator won't be our last one. I plan to buy a new Camaro SS eventually.

Not to be rude but that seems way over priced. I even did a kbb on it and your quite high, that may be part of the reason your having trouble selling it. Either way good luck with the sale!

Thanks for your input, turbo monte. KBB is basically worthless when it comes to putting a value on cars like this. If you search Autotrader, you'll see that I've priced mine quite competitively with other Intimidator SS models with similar miles and conditions around the nation. This is not a run-of-the-mill Monte Carlo. With that said, I do realize that finding the niche buyer that will appreciate this car will be difficult. I do not have to sell it and I won't give it away for the price of a standard Monte Carlo on KBB.
