Default 2003 SS For Sale: $5000

For Sale: 2003 Monte Carlo SS. $5000

If you'd rather contact me by phone, I teach high school to give you an idea about hours. 919-691-3886.

I'm not out to sell this thing aggressively yet. I'm still using it as a DD but want to buy a 2011+ Mustang this summer and would like this thing moved first. I'll use my Torino or my 1975 Ford truck (whcih I still need to put an engine... and interior.... and transmission, drive sahft, tires, mufflers, etc.) until I get another car. Since I'm not done with the truck, I'm not going to be aggressively out to sell this car just yet... but I am going to throw it out there with my price and see if anyone out there wants it.

I got the car in March 2007 when I was 17 years old. It had 80,000 miles nad I am the 4th owner. It is a well maintained piece and one that has served me well for 6 years. I'm just getting a little board and want something more fun, RWD... and a blue oval. Love these new Mustangs with the 3.7L V6!

Here is everything I can think of off the top of my head to know about it. Some good, some bad I guess... but I want to be as honest as I can with my fellow forum guys.

135,000 miles
3.8 L V6 engine
Well maintained, synthetic fluids
Interior and seats good, carpet has a couple of minor stains. Hard to keep tan carpet perfect!
Engine runs great! Plugs and wires changed at 100,000 miles
Wheel hub bearings replaced: October? 2012
Water pump and coolant elbows changed: November 2012
Cowl vent seal replacement: December 2012
A/C Compressor: April 09
Valve Cover Gaskets replaced: December 2011
Repainted by me: June 2012. Thread on the MCF about this somewhere.
Painted silver around the bottom by me in April 2011
Wheels: I sprayed some weird chemical on them in 2009 to clean them and it stained the aluminum. I repainted them with Dupli Color Aluminum Wheel finish.

It has these minor upgrades:

K&N Drop in Filter, re-oiled in January
Computer tuned on a dyno
u-bend delete

Good luck with the sale and happy hunting for your 2011+ Stang. Are you going to get a GT or the V-6? I'm having a blast with the 3.7L.

Well I had a little Careless and Wreckless in 2009 that still is on my insurance... and I'm 23, and teaching high school... the 3.7 is more practical for me.

Plus, if it wasn't for the fact that I have the truck and the Torino, having a GT as a big expense wouldn't be so bad... but having three cars to pay that insurance on....
