Good decision getting the struts with the springs I had to do the job twice because the front was bouncey with stock struts.

Been a while since I updated this! Took the past few weekends off. Haven't really been in much hurry but I decided I need to step it up lol.

Just started tearing down the passengers side. Got the old strut, caliper, rotor, bearing, off. Got the new sway bar links and bushings on as well. Going to get the old control arm off tomorrow night and start putting everything back on. Need to pop the axle out and put the new one on. Then get it off the stands. Fill up with some new transmission fluid and hope it starts up Haven't drove it in 6 weeks now Can't wait to have it back on the road. Once I've got everything done up front it will probably be a month or so before I start on the rear. My battery relocation, custom fuse box, custom intake, are all delaying my ability to purchase the rear struts, bearings, bushings etc.

I've also been working on cleaning up the wire mess that I had/have in the engine bay. I have some more braided lines, brass&chrome fittings, and some new black convoluted tubing coming. Should have all of it back together Friday at the latest so I can shine it up and get it ready for the car show Saturday.

Here are some pics of the engine bay thus far.

Thanks guys

Some more electrical tape and tubing and it should look pretty good. I used a random bracket that I found to put the wires up above the supercharger. I didn't really like them just sitting on there.

I'm still considering switching my valve covers around. I think it would look pretty clean with the oil cap in the back and the black cover in the front.

After my physics test tonight I'm going to work on my fuse box a little more, probably going to prep the inner fender for paint and primer it too.

WIN on those tail lights!!! I so wish there were LED tails for 5th gens. I've thought about custom ones though..

I think they will look much better than the night shade

Thanks! I thought about trying to make my original LED but I decided this would probably be the easiest and cheapest solution with everything else I have going on.

I too think they'll look great compared to the tint, I've hated the tint since I did it lol.. Looks kinda cool but I'm not much of a fan of the reduced visibility thing. Seems like I could/would be placed at fault very easily if someone were to rear-end my Monte

Same here. I initially loved the look of it when I did mine. However, after being stopped twice by the cops and warned about them I want to ditch them. It's just not worth it. Who knows, next time I get stopped the cops might not be so nice and I'll end up with a fine.. or even worse like you said I could be at fault for a rear end accident. PLUS I just think it looks cheap. The LED looks way nicer IMO. Hmmm... I'm gonna have to look into custom tails now again..
