Got my windows tinted professionally - 35% legal tint for the front side windows and rear.

Had mine done professionally. Window tinting is just one of those things I'd rather leave to the professionals that have the experience and know how to do it right.

I literally do everything on my cars by myself, engine work, tranny work, suspension work, paint. I won't touch tint, I'd rather pay someone to do it, since it is pretty cheap anyway, and have a lifetime warranty. I really don't feel like peeling off that back window when I screw it up lol.

Also, I run 15% on all of my windows on my grand prix.

My 2000 will be getting 5% all around and 35% on the windshield when it is running.

Agreed. I used to do all of my cars myself, and they turned out pretty good, but the time involved...ugh.

I have left the tint job to a pro for my last several cars. I found an excellent local guy and have used him for years.

In fact, I have an appointment on Monday to have the Monte de-tinted then re-tinted darker. 20% sides and 5% rear...oh yeah

That 20% will be nice. My 03 was 20% and my 06 is 18%. That percentage is perfect IMO; dark enough but not too dark.

Was wondering what yours was, Matt. Looks very nice on the black Monte.
My guy did 20% on my wife's Traverse and it matches the factory rear tint perfectly...

Window tint is good.

For the money I would let the pros do it. They know all the tricks to make it look perfect.
