Default Urgent Rust Problem =[

So I was washing my car today with my friend and I was just chilling and looking the car over and all for any problems and when i looked at the top of the car I saw this discolored path of paint and I looked closer at it and it's a ring of rust! I'm like paniking bcuz I don't know what to do! I'm about to get the car buffed and everything the first or second weekend of November but I don't think that will help. So my question is, how can I stop that patch of rust from spreading into a huge problem? Is the only way to get rid of it is to repaint the car or is there another way? I would love it if you guys could help me with this bcuz I'm really worried about it getting worse thanks

sorry these pics are kinda bad. the paint is so reflective so the closeup pics dont turn out very well and i just saw when i was taking that pic that there is another very very small spot that it trying to rust as well

use some rust converter, theres spray paint or like a brush on paint...tape around it and then just paint and clearcoat over the converter stuff...i use gemplers, its awesome, the one on the bottom..

unfortunatly with rust it has to be removed ....it is cancer on our cars.... that doens't look much more than surface so and good budy shop could take care of it with sand down rust converter.. primer and paint

any good body shot should be able to fix that spot and be able to blend into your excisting paint
