Here is a link to video on you tube of an 88 clone, you can see the front clip is on the car, but the lines aren't too good, I have a feeling this is more about the owners lack of ability, as when it shows the rest of the car you can see it's not in the best of shape, rust bubbles along the passenger door bottom etc, etc, he kept the original front fenders and it shows, there are also no bottom ground fx along the car
to do it right you will require ss fenders and rad support for sure, as well as new lights 81-86 SC fenders will also work since they are the same as an 83-88 SS (just need to grind off tabs from chrome trim). Only the 86-88 LS (euro front clip) fenders are different. The air box and honeycomb bumper support are also required. Rad support is the same. SS fender extentions, SS front spoiler and I think you'd need lights since the LS euro-style doesn't fit the SS nose
or this link will take you to a site that makes a complete fiberglass front end for $875 which may be something to consider as well, as by the time you buy all the used parts and locate them it might just be cheaper and easier to go with the fiberglass front end
