Well its been about a year now with my current hood scoop and It's held up fairly well considering how crappy it is lol. I noticed its chipping a little and starting to peel off so the cars not leaving the garage until its safe to drive. I decided to buy 20lbs of modeling clay and make it right this time with a full mock up, plaster negative, and molding the fiberglass. Rather than glue to scoop to the hood like i did last time I'll be making en entirely new hood so that the flexing doesnt cause any cracks. This is where you guys come in, ive decided to make this a commnunity project. I'd appreciate it if you guys would dig through google or any sites that you know of and find some pictures of sexy hoods that have features that would go well with a monte. I've done plenty of research and I've got a set idea, but i would enjoy some outside input so i dont make this thing look too crazy lol.

I like the shape of the scoop on this, pretty large while still blending quite well, and while i love the slots to the sides im not sure if a monte could pull off something that aggresive.

I'm not a big fan of how the scoop sinks into the hood, but i really like the slots and i think something similar would look great on a monte.

Again not a fan of the scoop itself but a big fan of the slots, I'm just not sure if it would look good on my baby.

Just throw me some ideas and help me out, I'll be making a time lapse video of the whole process from mock up to glassing and it should be fun to watch these ideas come to life. Oh and no cowls!
