Alright, finally no rain for a few days in PA, so I washed her up so she's presentable, and took a couple shots of the wheels. At least you can tell what they look like and all, no big deal. but you get the idea!

Mike , They look Nice..
My 2005 Monte SS, and 2005 Impala SS came stock with chrome lug nuts
I think the plastic lug nut covers are junk ,GM should have installed chrome lug nuts on all aluminum wheels..

Thanks fellahs, yeah I never understood the covers, well, yeah they make $5.00 a piece to replace 'em!!

@ Crusader SS- I believe when I was looking, you can find a set in red, but not the guy I got them from! They were like a kind of anodized red, pretty sharp, I debated it, but pink would be better, since that's the accent color on my ride!!

Did a quick search, check it and good luck!!-http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=red+lug+nuts&tag=googhydr-20&index=aps&hvadid=7268299059&ref=pd_sl_aqvefgl9h _e

I wouldn't get a color, because it will probably chip and break when you remove and install them unless you keep a padded socket and take it with you if you have to go to a mechanic and everything.

They look good. Looks like just what I need to get for the Monte. Although with it being Sept, I'll probably wait until next spring when I put the 18s back on.

Thanks for the review and pictures

Thanks Mike I'll check them out, as red is my accent colour... ... I know they're liable to chip but fortunately my Monte is nolonger a daily driver... Thanks for the advice though Mike(Chibi)..

PS - Just ordered mine from the website you provided Mike, thanks...... Cost $47.00 CDN to ship to British Columbia, Canada... Can't wait... Will post pics once on...

Good deal, glad to help ya out, hope they look as awesome as I think they will!!

PS- just noticed after seeing your Monte so many times, nice scoops!! I really debated getting the longer ones, but settled on the shorter, as I thought they might be too long, I really like the longer ones, will get them next time!! I dig the look of dual scoops on the Monte, tough look.

I never realized that you guys had caps on your lugs. My F150 has them too (metal though) and they're so torn up I just took 'em off and got a smaller tire iron.

I actually had a good experience at a local Peerless Tires here in town. The guys found me some spline lug nuts for my summer wheels. They are slimmer and the socket is smaller so you don't scratch the crap out of the inside of the holes in your wheel. Now I don't know how they'd look on a wheel without a cover (mine aren't exposed) but thought I'd throw the option out there for anyone that's ever found that their tire iron or socket is too big on aftermarket wheels.

Here's an example that's similar to mine.
McGard 65454 - McGard Spline Drive Lug Nut Installation Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com

Edit: Just noticed, those are $71! I got mine plus the extension/adaptor for $20.
