I used VHT on mine. They look good if you take your time and use rubbing compound on them lol.

I've never had a lot of success with spray paint, I'm assuming that VHT is essentually the same thing and just in case the local LEOs don't like the tint covers come off a whole lot easier then the VHT.

A few pictures on those pages, the thing about them though is that they're painted with automotive paint and then clear coated. So they're just like the paint on the car, just a different color and transparent.

get them painted at a bodyshop with transparent black, then clear coated. should cost about the same as buying covers

I wish we could have a smoked look on our monteswhen we tint them, but it always looks like a really dark maroon.
