Stock spoiler help
Bought a stock spoiler off of a wrecked Dale Earnhardt edition Monte off of ebay. Saw some spoilers were selling little rubber grommet type things with theirs, all i got was nuts and bolts. Are these rubber grommets necessary or can i just bolt this thing on.

Little secret to locating where to drill ....
put some short bolts in the mounting holes...
add a dab of grease on the heads of the screws...
Center it over the trunk lid and lightly touch the trunk lid and walla drill away and your all set!
Or use a grease pencil ... outline the spoiler in its position on the trunk lid... then just measure the underside of the spoiler where the holes are located ... transfer that measurement to your trunk lid... and you should be right on the money...
either way definitely work!
Use rubber gromits from the hardware store to put on the bolts that should prevent any water from leaking into the trunk.
It will also look nicer than using RTV silicone to seal the screw.
