Default Spoiler Alert!! :)

So, when I bought my Monte, I really wanted the Nascar/Stand-Up/Vertical spoiler (pick the name you like for it). Well, given the items I wanted in the Monte I was looking for, I sacrificed the spoiler since the Monte I found had more important items I was after.

After Chibiblacksheep shared the news the 7th gen ('06-'07) vertical spoiler will fit the same bolt pattern as the surfboard, I wanted one!! I finally got one!!

Attached are shots of the spoiler I got (thank you Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market), a current pic of my Monte (last year) with the surf board.... Lastly, the test fit at the body shop of the new spoiler on the Monte. I am currently waiting for Body Exotic to finish up correcting the trunk lid and re-painting the spoiler (updates to come once I get my ride back).

Looking sharp. I prefer the look of the 7th gen. But for me to switch it out I would have either had to get a trunk lid w/ no spoiler or a surfboard spoiler (then fix the damage from that). Or fill the current holes on mine. Then find a 7th gen spoiler on top of that. So I just went w/ the trunk lid w/ the 6th gen NASCAR spoiler already attached.

Nothing wrong with that (that's the look I originally wanted, the 7th gen spoiler is what I was originally after). I think you made an AWESOME improvement loosing the Impala spoiler the previous owner added!
I had a few reasons to go the road I'm on.

Calling around junk yards found in Car-Parts.com, this one was found for $100 shipped. That is a VERY lucky price. All the other places I called that actually had one wanted $250+ before shipping (and some did NOT want to separate the spoiler from the trunk lid, which would inflate shipping costs).
Bottom line, it is possible to get one at a low price, it may take timing to find a place with it.
Final bill for the paint/body work to be determined.
