Will a 2006 pace car spoiler be able to bolt on a 2000 surfboard spoiler?

lol no. i would like to replace my surfboard spoiler with a pace car spoiler but i was looking at some posts saying you have to fill in the front holes if you use a 00-05 spoiler. and sence the 06 uses 4 bolds i was woundering if it will line up with mine?

 

Yes, it will.
Look at member Chibiblacksheep, he has an 06-07 Nascar spoiler on his 2000 SS, i believe. He also mentioned it's a bit taller than the 00-05 Nascar type spoiler, other than that its bolt on.

 

It bolts on but you may have to repaint the trunk lid anyway, becase the surboard is a bit bigger and may have rubbed a bit.

It fits over the same bolts no problem. You'll just need to buy the special "washers" that go over the bolts because they are one time use (to seal)

The surfboard does extend onto the trunk lid further, so you will have marks there, but it covers up around the 3rd brake light the same.

 

Yea I did the swap from surfboard to 2006 Nascar spoiler too. It can be done.

But you need to find an 06/07 first, which is really hard to find.

Also, factor in not only painting the spoiler, but factor in painting the trunk lid too, because that WILL have scares on it from the surfboard that will not get covered.
