Just to let you know most body kits for our cars are lip kits except the combat and f1. the f1 has the mash idea you are getting ready to do. I was thinking about doing the same thing. And putting black mesh in mine. GL I cant wait to see what it looks like.

I would leave it the same size lol. You could plastic weld a few plastic brakets in the back and 3m tap it in or use some resin. plastic welding is you take your plastic braket and another piece of plastic and melt the front bumper to the braket with the extra plastic. Scince the front bumper cover is plastic not fiberglass if you fiberglass it on it may or may not hold because the cover will flex more then the resin. since noone will see it you could just screw some brakets on. I have not done it yet so I am just spit balling ideas.

have the brackets with a hole for a small bolt, use a washer and bolt it in from the back side,, but idk will have to see what im dealing with when it gets here.. thanks for your input,,

in high school my car had a bodykit with the mesh and there was small bendable hooks that had been siliconed to the inside of the bumper,, but havent had any luck on finding them..

I think this has a lot of potential. I gave thought to cutting mine out but not interested in what all needs done to do it right. But it gives you a lot of options to think about.
